CoLoSus Project
To address the complexity and uncertainty inherent in sustainability issues, advanced individual sustainability competencies are needed. However, these broad competencies must be translated into specific professional and disciplinary contexts. The CoLoSus project seeks to explore how management education and business can integrate competencies related to sustainability, empowerment and resilience, particularly within the framework of learning communities.

Prof. Dr. Wim Lambrechts
Wim is an Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Open Universiteit and a longtime advocate of integrating sustainability competencies into the logistics sector and management learning communities. As a leading expert, Wim is active in international discourses on the role of learning in sustainable transitions and serves as advisor to the European Commission, United Nations, and Principles for Responsible Management Education.
Dr. Talia Stough
Talia obtained her PhD in Business Economics from the KU Leuven before joining the CoLoSus team as a postdoctoral researcher in 2021. She has since become an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Open Universiteit and a Guest Professor of Sustainable Management at the KU Leuven. In her research, she emphasizes the contested and subjective nature of sustainability as a construct, and is a passionate advocate for pluralistic operationalizations of the construct in measurement tools.
